In 2019, Rebecca was elected to Council of the Law Institute of Victoria (the peak body representing lawyers in Victoria). Her three year term commenced in January 2020 and she intends to ensure the interests of regional Victorians are properly represented in the legal industry.
Rebecca completed her studies at La Trobe University in 2011 and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts majoring in politics and history and a Bachelor of Laws with Honours. She then commenced her legal practical training with the Leo Cussen Institute and attained a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice.
Rebecca has a broad legal practice. Her day to day work includes property and commercial law, rural law, wills and estates and litigation. She has assisted clients to resolve a broad range of disputes such as breach of contract, family disputes over wills, building and property law, termination of share farming agreements, boundary fencing issues and ownership of cattle.
In her spare time Rebecca enjoys watching live music and playing guitar and keyboard in a local cover band.
